What a delight it was to stumble over these gorgeous photographs of 19-year-old Brigitte Bardot at the Cannes Film Festival in France!
Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardo was born on the 28th of September, 1934. Most know her as the iconic sex symbol of the 50s and 60s, and some know her for her love of acting, ballet dancing, being an animal rights activist and one of the worlds most stylish icons. We’ve always admired Bardot’s classic sense of style – her way of making a full piece swimsuit or a classic trench coat look so timeless. Apart from bikini’s, Bardot was also known for making gingham clothing popular after wearing a pink gingham dress to one of her weddings. From the photographs above, it is evident that she exudes beauty. There’s no wonder why she will always remain one of our favourite icons of her time.
