466/64 winter campaign
466/64 (four, double six, six four) is a fashion brand that takes its name from prisoner number 466 of 1964 given to Mr Nelson Mandela when he was incarcerated for life on Robben Island in Cape Town, South Africa. The 466/64 fashion brand reflects the intense vibrancy, positivity and infectious spirit of Africa through the use of bold colour and signature African shweshwe prints. Income generated from the sale of the brand is devoted to projects and initiatives to improve the lives of children in South Africa.
Last year our editor was invited to the 466/64 headquarters to preview their 2013 winter collection. And what a delight it was! The collection is a perfect mix of classic wardrobe staples and statement, must-have pieces. From a classic aquamarine trench coat, to a brightly patterned blazer, all of exceptional quality. It’s no wonder that this brand is taking the world by storm and remains one of our all-time favourite South African fashion labels.
466/64 is available at Stuttafords, online at 46664fashion.com/shop and at over 60 independent retailers. To find a store near you visit www.46664fashion.com/store-locator.
