Marchesa spring 2014 bridal collection
It’s that time of the year when we get to drool over the most exquisite bridal gowns in the world. With Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, Monique Lhullier and Carolina Herrera (to name a few) showing off their spring 2014 bridal collections. Up first was Marchesa. There was a generous balance between modern and vintage, which in our opinion, makes this collection a winner. A simple sweetheart bodice with intricate embroidery, and full gowns with delicate lace and classic veils. The knee-length one-shoulder lace dress reminded us of Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face (the model even looks a bit like her!). The entire collection exudes elegance and femininity, and there’s something here for every bride-to-be to be inspired by.
